MASTIC (rubber-based)

Rubber-based mastic “Buta Project” is a ready-to-use multicomponent material consisting of petroleum bitumen, crumb rubber and an organic solvent. Crumb rubber increases the strength of the coating and it gets resistant to shock, vibration and stretching.

Operations are carried out at temperatures from -10°С to + 40°С. At temperatures below +5°C, the mastic must first be kept at room temperature for at least a day. Do not use it near open flames. Operations must be carried out in rooms with a ventilation system. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. It is not recommen-ded to be used indoors. In case of skin contact, the mastic should be washed off with a solvent.

Mastic “Buta Project” is used for waterproofing, installation and repair of roofing, anti-corrosion protection of building structures made of concrete, metal, etc., and for fixing various building materials (fiberboard, plywood, glassine, hydrostekloizol (Hydro-glass insulation material), etc.).

Universal mastic is intended for all types of waterproofing works. After drying, it forms a coating with strong durability over a wide range of operating temperatures. Before application, all surfaces must be cleaned of dust, dirt and oil. The solution should be mixed well before use. It is recommended to apply the solution in 2 layers with a brush or roller brush.

Drying time: up to 24 hours.
